Biography
Katherine Martell, the managing attorney of First Point Law Group, PC, is an outstanding litigator who has appeared before the Virginia Supreme Court, the Virginia Court of Appeals, the Eastern District of Virginia, and local Circuit Courts throughout the Northern Virginia Region. With a strong work ethic and never giving up, she won every jury trial she had in 2014 and 2015. Ms. Martell is an aggressive litigator who knows how to evaluate her client’s case and help her clients win as big as possible.
Ms. Martell’s clients know that they have a capable and trustworthy lawyer on their side who will do anything to make sure that they are fully protected and represented in Court.
She has represented clients in various complex cases, including criminal, family, and employment matters. She always strives for justice; she is willing to go the distance and present an effective and winning strategy.
Ms. Martell can be heard every weekend on her live radio show, where she discusses a wide range of legal issues facing the Latino Community. Tu Abogada Latina radio show has helped hundreds of clients facing legal issues and teaching people about their legal rights.
Katherine Martell started her career with one of the largest law firms globally, DLA Piper; working on both corporate and litigation matters, she received training from some of the country’s most elite lawyers.
Katherine Martell is married to a Professional Firefighter, and together they live in Northern Virginia with their daughter and beagle. When she isn’t working, Katherine contributes her time to several local charities and enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching football.
